Triggers for investigation
Symptom clusters in a ward or office, persistent odour complaints, unexplained comfort issues, incidents involving chemicals or fumes, and infection prevention concerns where ventilation is suspected. The earlier an investigation is started, the easier it is to capture the conditions that triggered the complaint.
Investigation method
Interview-based scoping, multi-parameter air measurement, ventilation behaviour review, source review (cleaning products, equipment, adjacent processes) and a structured weighting of likely causes. Where appropriate we extend to formaldehyde or specific VOC testing.
Outputs
A written investigation report with most-likely cause, supporting evidence, and a remediation plan. We can attend joint estates / IPC / clinical leadership meetings to present findings where helpful.
