Scope of the assessment
Air quality, ventilation performance, pressure regimes, ductwork and AHU condition, humidity behaviour, thermal comfort, and the alignment of all of the above with HTM 03-01 and supporting standards. Risks are scored by clinical consequence and likelihood and tabulated into a risk register.
Where it fits
Risk assessments are particularly valuable before major refurbishment, after a change of clinical use, when older buildings are being repurposed, and as part of pre-acquisition due diligence for private healthcare operators.
From risk to action
Output is a prioritised action plan with owners and timeframes. We map each action onto the relevant service — validation, hygiene, monitoring or investigation — so it can be tracked through to closure.
