Healthcare air quality sensors

Sensor choice in healthcare matters. Devices need to be accurate at the concentrations actually seen in clinical spaces, stable over months between calibrations, and tamper-resistant in patient-facing areas. We specify, deploy and maintain the sensor estates that power continuous healthcare air monitoring.

01

Parameters and technology

Optical particle counters for PM2.5/PM10, NDIR for CO₂, electrochemical or PID for VOCs depending on the question, capacitive RH and Pt100/thermistor for temperature, and micromanometers or differential transducers for pressure. Each parameter has multiple sensor classes — we match technology to the clinical risk and data requirement.

02

Calibration and traceability

Healthcare estates need traceable calibration. We operate scheduled calibration, field reference checks and rolling sensor replacement so the dataset stays defensible in audit. Calibration history is held in the dashboard alongside the data it qualifies.

03

Installation in clinical environments

Sensors are mounted away from doorways, breath paths and direct supply grilles, with tamper-resistant cases in patient-facing areas. We work to local infection prevention guidance for surface materials and cleaning compatibility.
