Validation

Healthcare validation air testing

Validation air testing confirms that a healthcare ventilation system meets its design intent — at commissioning, after maintenance, and on a periodic basis. We deliver structured validation programmes aligned to HTM 03-01 Part B and the relevant cleanroom standard.

01

When validation is required

New build and major refurbishment commissioning. After significant AHU, fan or ductwork maintenance. Annual revalidation of critical ventilation systems. Following any incident that affects ventilation performance in a clinical space.

02

What validation covers

Room air change rates, supply and extract balance, pressure regimes between adjacent rooms, filter integrity and bypass, recovery time after door movement where required, and particulate counts at the critical zone. Every parameter is documented against the design or HTM 03-01 expectation.

03

Outputs

A validation report per system, with per-room status, raw measurement data, photographs and a clear pass/fail outcome. Reports are formatted for the ventilation safety group and the HTM 03-01 compliance file.
